The Visegrad Young Film Days as a part of the Young Film Fest Industry Programme is focused on development of audiovisual education in countries from the Visegrad Group (V4: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia). The diverse audiovisual production (in the media and social media, and also films and TV shows available both online and in cinemas) influences children and youth on a mass level. Since the conditions for addressing this issue are different in each of the V4 countries, we are planning to create a unique unifying platform that will provide a space for sharing experiences and examples of good practice. The goal of The Visegrad Young Film Days project is to draw attention to the importance of audiovisual education at the international level, especially in the V4 countries. The project focuses on the professional organizations of cultural events for children and youth related to audiovisual education.
