Editing

Tereza Rozálie Koldová

This workshop focuses on trailer making and how editing affects the meaning and feel of a film work. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different ways to use editing to interpret the content. The workshop will begin with a theoretical introduction, where we will explore the topic of editing and its role in influencing the meaning of a film. Participants will then embark on a practical task - creating a trailer for one of the films they watched at the Young Film Fest. The aim is to test how different editing approaches can affect the final meaning of a film and how flexible film material can be in the hands of the filmmaker.
