Sebastian Rosenow studied Film Culture: Archiving, Programming, Presentation, as well as History and Media Studies in Frankfurt am Main and Paderborn, focusing his research on cinematic memorial culture and the politics of the past, as well as the cinematic construction of images of the self and others. After working for the MiniFilmclub, the educational programme for pre-school children of the DFF and as project coordinator for the German-Austrian cooperation project “Intercultural Film Education”, he has been responsible for the management and coordination of European film education projects for the DFF – namely the projects Cinemini Europe 2, CinEd and Lichtspielplatz.
