Rianne van Laar

Rianne is Industry coordinator at Nationwide Network for Film Education based in the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. She is responsible for offering advice and support to film exhibitors (festivals & theatres) and filmmakers (in the broadest sense) who want to reach education with their films and film programmes. Rianne previously worked as a film education consultant at Filmhub Zuid, which is one of the six regional Film Hubs in the Netherlands. Her primary goal was to firmly establish film education in the educational system in the region. These Film Hubs are part of the Nationwide Network for Film Education. In her capacity as a film education consultant, Rianne's core responsibilities involved facilitating the connection between the supply and demand of film education resources and services, promoting expertise in the field, and fostering the exchange of knowledge in the realm of film education.
