Liisa Nurmela (b.1993, Tallinn) has been working in the cultural sector for ten years with producing and communication, with a focus on film festivals. Her passions lie in user experience, digital environments and communication. As the owner of Nurmeli Productions, she is working with Arts of Survival Documentaries which is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme in Estonia; Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden and a Nordic-Baltic Network ActinArt. Liisa is also stepping into the mentoring world working together with the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater. As a multitalented, passionate and determined person, she is trying to make the world a better place with what she is working with.
