How to create a theme, a script or a film from an idea or a thought? Or how to transform the words we use to describe these ideas into an audiovisual narrative? This will be the task in our workshop - from our ideas we will try to create a theme, a script and an initial idea of how this theme could look like a film and how it could be made.

Kristýna Kopřivová

Kristýna studied Humanities, Curatorial Studies/Art History (Prague, Israel, London), then Documentary Directing at FAMU in Prague. She has made several films in the genres of documentary, hybrid documentary and fiction. The award-winning film Al Amari, Transient Stay (43 min) was her debut. She has been published in art magazines and journals, on the Czech Radio 3 Vltava programme Mozaika, worked as a reporter and art lecturer on the UMAkart platform, curated exhibitions, has experience as an assistant director and currently teaches film courses at the Prague Scholastika School.
