An exhausted "human" female salmon lies on the river bank. Her eggs are almost ready to hatch. The newborn human-salmon female makes the dangerous journey down the wild river to the open sea. And then back again. Whether in the form of natural predators or man-made threats, many obstacles stand in her way. But her courage, tenacity and magical life force will lead her to the very place she was born. Shot in the style of a nature documentary, the film outlines a way to communicate themes around the conservation of endangered species. In human form, we can relate much better to the suffering presented.
