The first deepfake film by acclaimed artist and filmmaker Rachel Maclean is set in a world of artifice, deceit and intrigue. The subversive film makes full use of deepfake video and audio and critiques the actors using machine learning and artificial intelligence. It uses elements of classic Hollywood, video games, film noir and science fiction to entertainingly explore the contemporary boundaries of truth and power.
