Do you love films? Do you enjoy thinking critically about them and would you like to share your thoughts and opinions with others? We want to hear them!
Sign up for the Young Film Fest jury, meet your peers who feel the same way, and choose the winner of the festival together!
Young Film Fest doesn't mince words and speaks openly about appropriate and inappropriate topics, blurring the lines between audience and lecturer and, without excessive formalities, conceiving film programmes in a way that others dare not.
The programme is divided into two competition days. On Saturday we will meet with the 12-14 year olds and on Sunday with the 15-19 year olds to watch a selection of short films from across Europe on contemporary themes. After each film, we will discuss what it evoked in us, how we felt watching it and what we thought about, and everyone will form their own opinion based on that. Reflection on the films will also be stimulated by the workshops throughout the day. At the end, you can learn valuable advice and tips for your future studies in a debate with students and graduates of secondary film schools.
