In the middle of the night a young woman is on her way home in a cab. The innocent conversation quickly turns to more intimate topics and the atmosphere gradually becomes tense. A few deft shortcuts and soon the car is bumping along a remote road somewhere on the periphery. What is intention and what is coincidence?
