INDUSTRY Film Academy: Teach (With) Film

Second session of the Film Academy: Teach (with) Film, designed for educators who want to begin integrating film and audiovisual education into their teaching or enhance their existing methods.

Janek Rubeš will focus on the creation of audiovisual content for online platforms such as Youtube, he will discuss how to recognize media manipulation and how this area can be reflexively worked with in the classroom.

Film Academy: Teach (with) Film is a course of theoretically and practically oriented workshops running from August 2024 to the end of 2025. You can participate in individual workshops of your choice, or attend the whole Academy. Participants of the whole Academy with a maximum of 3 absences will receive a graduation certificate. Janek Rubeš

Janek Rubeš, youtuber, documentary filmmaker, director and reporter, graduated from the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek and Tomas Bata University in Zlín. His specialty is investigative videos and reportages in which he exposes fraudsters and their tricks. He is a frequent target of attacks by dishonest taxi drivers, money changers or fake monks. He has been awarded several times for his work in the Křišťálová lupa poll and has also won the Novinářská křepelka of Ceny K. H. Borovského. Forbes magazine ranked him in the 30 under 30 list.
