Don't be scared and join us!
A weekly suburban event full of audiovisual art, creativity, creation and critical thinking for bright young people aged 14-17. The camp is suitable for complete beginners who are just getting to know the audiovisual world, but also for more experienced individuals (including those who have been to Young Film Fest).
When?
August 2–8, 2021, daily between 9 am and 7 pm.
Where?
In the Prague art center DOX (Poupětova 1, 170 00 Prague 7 - Holešovice) and its surroundings.
A full day trip awaits us on Wednesday, August 4.
The camp is not residential.
How much?
4300 CZK
In addition to the DOX program and space, the price also includes a nice hot lunch and two snacks a day, equipment, teaching tools and several lecturers.

YOUNG FILM CAMP
1.
expands the student's knowledge of various dimensions of the audiovisual world,
2.
develops a young mind, ideas and argumentation skills through practical tasks and discussions with lecturers and guests,
3.
leads students to create by themselves, to be able to defend their own work, but at the same time to remain open to the perspectives of others,
4.
takes pride in providing a safe and fun environment for participants to develop, cultivate and define individual values,
5.
takes care of intensive work both in groups and with individual students, the number of accepted participants is a maximum of 21.
WHO ARE WE?
Young Film Fest is organized by the krutón, z.s. association, which has been focusing on audiovisual education, training and event organization, including film distribution, for many years. It has been running for more than ten years with a changed name and a modified concept, based on tried-and-tested formats of summer art camps, audiovisual workshops and lectures.
APPLICATIONS
Write to us at camp@youngfilmfest.cz that you are interested in participating in our Camp.
We do not make any complicated selection procedures, but we will send you a simple registration form with a few questions about hobbies and potentially the applicant`s own creations. In case of mutual interest, we will send an application, which must be filled in by a legal representative, and details for payment. Due to the current pandemic situation, it is enough to send the payment in June. Details will be specified.
Should a situation arise where it is not possible to carry out Young Film Camp due to government restrictions, or the student will not be able to participate due to mandatory quarantine, illness or injury, we will refund the full amount (100 %) no later than August 31, 2021. The Camp will be in Czech only.
